Dental Care Experience

Dr. Ryan Prieto provides comprehensive care at Martin Dentistry of Kingsport, offering a wide range of services tailored to each patient’s needs and the community’s needs. His approach to dentistry is centered not only on relieving pain but also on restoring patients’ confidence and function. A native of a small suburb outside Chicago, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky before earning his DDS from Creighton University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Prieto offers a wide scope of dental procedures for his patients, with a strong focus on root canals and surgical dentistry, including extractions and implant treatment ranging from single-tooth implants to full-mouth implant dentures. He’s drawn to this work for its power to change patients’ lives, combining the latest technology with skilled surgical care to restore patients’ ability to eat, speak, and smile with confidence. He has completed training in oral sedation and continues to broaden his surgical scope through the Comprehensive Implant Residency Program, as part of his ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry. He has also volunteered his skills at the Veterans Mission of Mercy in Nebraska, providing free dental care to those in need.

For Fun

Dr. Prieto recently relocated to the Tri-Cities with his fiancée, Katie, a registered nurse. The two met at the College World Series while watching Tennessee take on LSU. Outside the office, he enjoys getting outdoors in East Tennessee, including hiking, fishing, and golfing. He also enjoys staying active, working out, and running races.
